about

The second album from the esteemed Melbourne trio of Allan Browne (drums), Nick Haywood (bass), and Tim Stevens (piano). Originals by Stevens, jazz standards and the wonderful old song 'I thought about you'. Originally released (1998) on ABC Jazz, then picked up by Rufus Records for re-release in 2009.

– Allan Browne

The trio would like to thank Nellie, Che, Ella, Ruby, Kerry and Annemaree, Margie, Stella, Hayley, Billy, Ollie, Miles, Tim's mum and dad, Michael, Liz, Sall, Michael Tortoni and the staff at Bennetts Lane Jazz Club.

Very sincere thanks to Jim McLeod for his support of Australian improvised music, and to the marvellous Mal Stanley for his tireless, but so efficient, work on this recording. Special thanks also to Nick Bron, Pat Sergo, Angela Schumann and everyone else at ABC Music for their contribution to the original release of this album.
